• You will indicate your registration intent: availability to skate or to be removed from list.

Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. 

Do not forget to hit the COMPLETE REGISTRATION button at the bottom of the last form.  Upon completing your registration, you will receive a confirmation email which will indicate that your registration has been received. 

Each year, you will need to register to remain on the Sub List and be considered for full-time league invites.  After 2-3 years of not registering, you will be removed from our lists.  This ensures our lists are up-to-date each season.  This also allows you to indicate your availability for that season.   By signing up for this list, you can indicate your intention to play in the league as a sub and/or seek a full-time invite in the league. 

SUB IN LEAGUE

When a coach needs a sub, they fill that need with a league member from another team or someone from the Sub List with a similar rating.  To increase your likelihood of getting calls to sub, make sure you obtain a rating (see below), sign up with number that can receive text messages, and respond in a timely manner (if you can play or not) when you get requests to sub.  Subbing frequently is often the best way to get invited into the league full-time.  

INVITE TO PLAY FULL-TIME 

League play is broken into 2 sessions, Fall (Sept - Dec) and Winter (Jan- Mar).  Before the start of each session, we set the rosters with league members and fill in any openings due to retirement, injuries, etc with Sub List players who have already been filling in full-time.  This normally leaves a few openings that we fill with new Sub List players.  Invites will only be sent to players who have indicated their intention for full-time invite for that season... another reason to register every year!

OBTAIN A RATING

Every player in the league is rated, so in order to sub or play full-time, you will need to be rated.  If you have skated in the league previously and/or played in one of our Tuesday skates, we should have a rating for you.  If you haven't, we do try and fill openings on our Tuesday skates with unrated players.  However, you can "self rate" by watching one of our Sunday games (game times are 5:30, 6:50, 8:10, 9:30 pm on the B rink at Eddie Edgar), identify 2-3 skaters from the ice that have similar ability as yourself, and then email Dan at dan@livoniaover30hockey.com with team name and jersey number of those players.  Another way to obtain a rating is if you know someone who plays in the league already, have them email Dan with a player or two of similar ability.  If you are unsure if you have a rating, you can also email Dan and ask.
